Allendale Chamber completes board; DDA hears events and parks updates

At its March 18 meeting the Allendale DDA received an Allendale Area Chamber Update announcing the Chamber board is complete and noted planning for the Best of Allendale Awards, a DDA Lights Display article, and the M45 Celebration on Sept. 13, 2025; Parks & Recreation said it is soliciting design proposals from engineering firms.
The Allendale Downtown Development Authority received a Chamber update and a Parks & Recreation status report at its March 18 meeting.
The Allendale Area Chamber provided an update that the Chamber board is complete and shared information about the Best of Allendale Awards and a DDA Lights Display article. The Chamber also disclosed planning is underway for the M45 Celebration scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025.
Separately, the Parks & Recreation committee reported it is reaching out to engineering firms to request design proposals for future park projects. The DDA board requested that the committee provide regular updates to the full board as proposals and plans develop.
No votes or funding decisions related to the Chamber updates or parks proposals were taken at the meeting.
