At the June 15 meeting Administrator Jennifer Bromeland reported the City Council approved hiring Collins Cherus as a planning intern for a 15-week appointment. Cherus requested, and staff noted approval of, a schedule of Thursdays and Fridays for the internship. The intern will support planning-related projects including drafting an electronic sign ordinance, updating available maps and other planning tasks.
The commission also reviewed monthly building and zoning permit activity; the minutes record that the permit activity was reviewed but do not list permit-level actions or approvals taken by the commission during the meeting.
No formal motions or votes concerning the intern or permit activity were recorded in the minutes for these items.
