Contracts and spending: The board voted to sign a standard contract with the Commonwealth (MassDOT) for reconstruction at West Street and Route 27 and authorized the town administrator to sign; approved a contract amendment with Beta for expanded sidewalk design scope and a contract extension to Dec. 30, 2026 (an increase of $20,100 for additional wetlands/regulatory work on Winter Street); and authorized a small amendment to the Weston & Samson peer-review contract related to the Medfield State Hospital abatement/restoration package.
Other votes: The Select Board approved a community-choice electricity procurement authorization (so the CCA committee may pursue a supplier bid), accepted a committee resignation, adjusted several revolving-fund spending limits, approved one-day alcohol licenses for community fundraisers and approved FY26 affordable-rent schedules for local housing properties.
