Kelsey Kuhlman of the Delaware Public Health District briefed council on several community health programs including a Walk-in Mobile Clinic, agricultural tire recycling at the Morrow County Fairgrounds, guidance on poison hemlock, and a Delaware Suicide Prevention Coalition t-shirt contest.
Separately, landscape architect Kathy Moran (Yardmaster’s) presented a redevelopment idea for the Village Square and provided drawings available upon request. Mark Rufner of KEM recommended traffic-safety changes for the Square: a four-way stop at Columbus and Front Street, two stops on Sunbury Road and a speed table on Columbus Street. Council members and staff noted pictures and drawings are available if residents request them.
The presentations were informational; no formal council action on these items was recorded in the minutes.
