West Milwaukee board approves committee assignments, reappoints Tourism Commission in brief special meeting

President John Stalewski called the West Milwaukee Village Board to order at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday in the upstairs conference room at Village Hall and led the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting lasted about six minutes and adjourned at 5:06 p.m.
The board unanimously approved its committee assignments and the President Pro-Tem as presented in Exhibit A after a motion by Trustee Todd Hill and a second by Trustee Jane Edgar. A roll-call vote recorded ayes from Trustee Jane Edgar, Trustee Craig Schaefer, Trustee Dominic Greenfield, Trustee John Ragonese, Trustee Steve Schuettke, Trustee Todd Hill and President John Stalewski; the motion carried.
Trustee John Ragonese then moved, seconded by Trustee Dominic Greenfield, to reappoint the members of the Tourism Commission. The board again voted unanimously, with the same ayes recorded, and the reappointments carried.
Most standing committees reported no items for consideration during the special session. Chairperson Jane Edgar announced the next Health Department meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 24. The board noted other upcoming meetings: the West Milwaukee Community Development Authority (WMCDA) on Monday, April 28 at 6:00 p.m.; the next Village Board meeting on Monday, May 5 at 6:00 p.m.; and a Plan Commission meeting on Tuesday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m.
With no further business, Trustee Craig Schaefer moved to adjourn, Trustee Steve Schuettke seconded, and the meeting concluded at 5:06 p.m. Allison Kavanaugh, Administrative Assistant, signed the minutes as submitted.
