Chairperson Schaefer told the board at the May 19 meeting that the License Committee recommended approval of new beverage operator license applications for Santa Villanueva, Karen Harmon and Sarah Johnson.
The License Committee elected to hold Desiree Garcia’s new-application until she can appear to explain an item on her record. Chairperson Schaefer also reported that the committee initially moved to deny Malasha Curry’s application following a recommendation by Chief Randolph, who said Curry omitted information on her application after being given the opportunity to amend it; Schaefer and Trustee Edgar withdrew the denial motion and instead the board will hold Curry’s application so Curry can meet with the committee and provide additional information.
Schaefer moved, seconded by Trustee Edgar, to approve renewal beverage operator licenses for Rebecca Bilot, Shahana Reynolds, Lizbeth Nunez and Katrina Lyman. The minutes record a roll call vote with all present trustees voting aye and the motion carried. The minutes note a brief discussion about a police contact related to one renewal applicant but do not provide further detail.
