The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority voted Jan. 20 to adopt Ordinance 26-01 MBA, setting the authority’s 2026 meeting schedule and changing the weekly Tuesday start time from 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The change was proposed during the authority’s regular business. A staff member moved to approve the ordinance as written with the start-time amendment; the motion was seconded and carried with members voting in favor. The chair announced the ordinance’s adoption after the vote.
The ordinance was the principal formal action taken at the meeting. Members framed the time change as a minor scheduling adjustment intended to allow more time for standing business at the start of the session.
In addition to the schedule ordinance, the authority acknowledged routine finance reports. A staff member presented the cash summary and accounts receivable report; a motion and second were made to acknowledge receipt of the report, and members voted to approve the acknowledgement.
The authority also reviewed a disbursement summary covering checks clearing Jan. 8–13, 2026. The staff member reported the total disbursed as $3,403.18; the board made a motion, seconded it and voted to acknowledge the disbursement summary.
On project updates, a staff member reported progress on the county water treatment plant, saying, “We're hoping to be done by the middle of February,” and that work on the Health Business and Community Center continues, with crews "still waiting on the doors and, finishing up the water hookup." No citizen comments were recorded during the meeting.
The meeting concluded with brief acknowledgments to planning and water-and-sewer staff. The chair adjourned the meeting by acclamation at 9:33 a.m.
