MBA hears updates on Dutch John water plant, clinic and CIB reimbursement

The board discussed a supplemental reimbursement request to the CIB; a commissioner reported the CIB approved the county’s request for reimbursement and contingency funding and emphasized the need to use those funds on appropriate water-related corrective work. Commissioners also discussed timing to name a successor as the county’s representative on the CIB before the current commissioner’s term ends, so the new representative can transition into the role.
The meeting record shows the construction coordination meeting for the clinic is scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m. and that commissioners expect to continue coordination with the CIB on reimbursement and contingency details.
