Chair Laura Erickson presented proposed revisions to the BET Reference Manual during the Committee’s new business portion on March 10 and solicited feedback from committee members. The Policies and Procedures Committee intends to present a first read to the full BET in May, with a vote expected in June.
Erickson also reported that the bond deauthorization process has been deferred to April and that bond counsel from Robinson & Cole is expected to attend that meeting. She said she has reached out to Nathaniel Witherell’s executive director and board chair to inform them of the BET’s actions and to invite them to appear at the July full BET meeting.
The Committee took no formal votes on the Reference Manual at this meeting; the manual will return for further consideration in future committee and full BET sessions.
