With no bids received on previously advertised hay, the Village of Denton Board of Trustees adopted Resolution No. 25-1-1 on Jan. 6 to re-advertise the sale of 12 large round brome hay bales.
The resolution directs the clerk to publish notice of the sale in three prominent places within the village and in the Lincoln Journal Star for not less than seven days prior to the sale. The board set the sealed-bid letting for Feb. 3, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., and noted the village determined the total fair market value of the property is less than $65.
Trustee Trent Wheatley moved to adopt the resolution and the motion carried. The clerk will handle notice posting and the bid process, and the village reserves the right to reject any and all bids per the resolution text.
