The Village of Denton trustees approved a one-year Restated Keno Agreement for 2025 and authorized Trustee Joe Hobelman to sign on the village's behalf, the board recorded on Jan. 6.
Attorney Maureen Freeman-Cady recommended limiting the contract term to one year; Trustee Amanda Fangmeier moved to approve the restated agreement and Trustee Osborn seconded. The motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting the treasurer reported Keno figures for November 2024: gross proceeds $628,912.72, payout 83.28%, unclaimed wins $171.25, village share $44,195.14 and operator share $60,899.72. The board approved the contract amendment and discussed term limits; no additional contract details were recorded in the minutes.
