Board reviews school capital projects, PTO donation to replace rubber mulch at Canavan

Facilities also reported milling and paving work started at the high school D lot ahead of community fireworks, ongoing roofing work at the high school and science‑lab renovations at Ai Routt where the team identified and adopted a solution to earlier construction issues.
Board members asked operational questions — for example, whether LVT tile would be installed over existing tile in classrooms and whether carpeting would be modular for easier replacement. Facilities representatives said the specification calls for square tiles that allow single‑tile replacement. The board was told more detailed project documents and bids are posted in BoardDocs for public review.
