Denton trustees approve claims, transfer $60,000 from Keno fund; chair abstains

Trustee John Juricek moved to approve Claims A totaling $85,668.64, Claims B $5,992.88 and June payroll of $9,865.05, and to transfer $60,000 from the Keno Fund to the General Fund. Trustee Doug Rosekrans seconded the motion. The recorded vote was Ayes: Juricek, Trenton Wheatley, Amanda Fangmeier and Doug Rosekrans; Chair Joe Hobelman was recorded as abstaining. The motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting Trustee Juricek moved and Trustee Rosekrans seconded approval of the minutes from the June 3, 2024 meeting; that motion was carried. The minutes do not record numeric roll-call counts for the minutes approval motion.
No further votes or motions were taken before the board adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
