Paul presented the procurement results for Lump Park ADA sidewalk improvements, telling the board Knife Lake Concrete declined to bid and Lind Masonry submitted a quote of $23,852, which is under the board‑budgeted amount of $25,000. Paul said Lind Masonry could start as soon as next week and staff recommended awarding the contract.
A board member moved to approve awarding the contract; another member seconded. The motion passed on a voice vote with members indicating approval.
The contract covers extending sidewalk from the trail parking area to the restroom building and includes minor site fitting around trees and other existing park features. Staff will coordinate a site walkthrough with the contractor and monitor construction timing to fit around existing park use.
