Baxter council approves temporary alcohol licenses for Baxter Fun Days events

Council members Schabilion and Smith were present alongside Mayor Pro Tem Churchill and City Administrator/Clerk Jill Braye; council members Bethards and Milligan and Mayor Daniel Kunkel were absent. There were no members of the public in attendance.
During the short meeting, Smith moved to approve the agenda; Schabilion seconded and the motion passed with votes from Churchill, Schabilion and Smith. The council then approved two Special Class C Retail Alcohol License applications. The first application, submitted by Nichole Schneider, was for The Whimsical Wine Trailer to operate in conjunction with Baxter Fun Days. The second application, submitted by Danielle Brannen on behalf of the Baxter Fun Days Committee, was for alcohol service at the Baxter Fun Days Street Dance. Both motions were moved by Smith, seconded by Schabilion, and carried by unanimous voice vote.
After the votes the council moved to adjourn. Schabilion made the motion to adjourn, Smith seconded, the motion carried, and the meeting ended at 10:04 a.m.
No public comments were recorded and no other business was taken up at the session.
