Crosby-Ironton school board to review 2026–27 budget and several student policy updates

Rick Ollie, speaking in a recorded announcement, said the Crosby-Ironton Public School District school board will meet Monday night at 6:30 p.m. in the forum room to review and vote on the district's 2026'17 budget. "Monday night, your school board is meeting 6:30 in the forum room," he said.

The announcement said the board's agenda includes a formal review and approval of the 2026'17 school district budget and "several costing factors that are impacting the school district budget as we head into the 26-27 school year." Ollie noted the district recorded a podcast episode with Bill Tallman that walks through revenue and expense drivers in more detail.

Ollie also listed several policy upgrades the board will review and consider for approval, specifically the student cell phone policy, student dress and appearance policy, and the student behavior policy. "Student cell phone policy, student dress and appearance, the student behavior policy, and several others will be up for review and approval," he said.

The announcement advised parents that the meeting can be watched live on the district's YouTube channel or later on the district website. Ollie encouraged parents to download the Infinite Campus parent app ahead of the district's planned move to a new student information system next year, saying, "We will be using Infinite Campus next year to communicate all things regarding your student on a new student information system. Get a head start. Download that campus app right now." The recording specifically instructs parents of students in the district to use the app.
