Alina Bell, Grand County finance director, told the board the batch covers 81 payments and includes a $3,000,000 ORT (Open Lands, Rivers and Trails) grant disbursement to the town of Hot Sulphur Springs for the purchase of the Vara family open space. "The closing and wire to the title company are scheduled for January 30," Bell said. She also reported a $1,207,634.97 payment to Big Valley Construction for December work on EMS Station 1 and a $32,111.50 charge to OpenGov for the county's annual budgeting software subscription.
Commissioner (speaker 2) moved to approve the vouchers, wire payments and interfund transfers presented on Jan. 27 for payment Jan. 28; the chair called for a voice vote and commissioners answered "Aye." The motion covered vouchers for Grand County, the Department of Human Services and the Grand County Housing Authority; Bell noted the ORT wire would be sent Jan. 30.
