Port Clinton mayor briefed council on Lakeview Drive revetment, city communications and holiday events

The mayor thanked Nancy Greene and community partners for donating and installing the city Christmas tree and outlined holiday events: Santa will appear Dec. 7 (Ala Carte Afterhours 3:00–5:00 p.m., parade along Second Street to Adams Street at 5:30 p.m.) and will be available at his house on Dec. 8, 11, 15 and 18 at specified times. Economic and Community Development Coordinator P. Christman said the city's email service will be offline from Nov. 27 at 5:00 p.m. through Dec. 2 at 8:00 a.m. for an exchange-server migration. He said the city's new website is tentatively scheduled to go live in February 2025 and that the next City Chat will be Dec. 12 at 6:00 p.m. at The Art Garage; attendees who provide contact information receive a summary of questions and answers by email.
