Commission approves Racetrack Incorporated final plat; Winters subdivision tabled

Polar Engineering representative Ben Sumeet presented the final plat and amended site plan for Racetrack Incorporated and said staff comments had been addressed. "We've been working closely with the city in the past couple of weeks to address all comments that staff had," Sumeet said; the commission moved to approve the final plat and accept the amended site plan and the motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting, staff reported that the petitioner for petition 25‑16 (Winters subdivision, eight lots) had consolidated ownership of the parcels but that stormwater detention and road improvement details remained outstanding. The commission moved and seconded to table petition 25‑16 to allow the petitioner and staff to resolve drainage, sidewalk and roadway questions.
Next steps: Racetrack Incorporated must provide finalized plat documents to staff for recording; Winters petition 25‑16 will be returned when drainage and road‑improvement responses have been completed.
