The Groesbeck City Council unanimously approved its consent agenda at a regular meeting on Oct. 15, 2024. The consent package included approval of the Sept. 17, 2024 regular session and budget public hearing minutes; a one-year contract renewal between Limestone and the Groesbeck Memorial Library for Oct. 1, 2024–Sept. 30, 2025; and the quarterly investment report through September 2024.
Council Member Kim Harris moved to approve the consent agenda, and Tamikia Jackson seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
The approved library contract renewal will keep the existing arrangement between Limestone and the Groesbeck Memorial Library in place for the referenced fiscal year. The council did not record a roll-call vote; the minutes state the motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was presided over by Mayor Matthew D. Dawley. No public comments were recorded during the citizen comment period. The council adjourned at 6:04 p.m.
