Lincoln Ave; Variety Auto Inc. (d/b/a Indoor Auto Sales) at 1651 S. 44th St; and Suttner Industries Inc. (d/b/a Ace Auto Salvage/Ace Auto Sales) at 2393 S. 43rd St. Each motion passed on roll call with Trustees Hill, Greenfield, Schuettke, Edgar, Schaefer and President Stalewski voting aye; Trustee Ragonese was excused for the meeting.
During discussion of Variety Auto’s license, Administrator Kim Egan explained the business owner had been slow to address prior violations and had refused to pay fines, which were placed as a lien on the property; she said all safety issues had since been resolved. The board discussed whether Suttner Industries’ property frontage in 43rd Street lay in the City of Milwaukee while the building and salvage yard are within the Village of West Milwaukee; President Stalewski clarified the location.
