The Perkiomen Township Board of Supervisors authorized advertisement of a draft ordinance (No. 244) to raise the allowable annual compensation for township supervisors following Act 94 of 2024. Solicitor Kenneth Picardi told the Board the ordinance would change the current compensation from $2,500 per year to a maximum of $4,190; the Board authorized advertising the proposed ordinance by a unanimous 4‑0 vote to begin the public notice process.
Separately, the Board adopted Resolution 2025‑3 to appoint audit firm Barsz, Gowie, Amon & Fultz (BGA&F) of Media, Pa., to complete the township’s 2024 audit (including the Perkiomen Township Fire Company) and accepted the firm’s proposal. That resolution was approved by a 4‑0 vote.
The Board also adopted Resolution 2025‑1 (depositories: UNIVEST National Bank & Trust Company and PLIGIT) and Resolution 2025‑2 (professional consultant fees listing SSM Group and Yergey, Daylor, Allebach, Scheffey & Picardi). All routine annual resolutions were approved unanimously.
