Welcome Center task force says fundraising goal met; construction eyed for June 2025

Hubbard said the project also received a contribution from the City of Viroqua.
Committee members were told construction is anticipated to begin in June 2025, with an expected construction period of roughly six to nine months. The task force did not provide a specific construction contractor or a final construction schedule at the meeting.
The update was presented as part of the committee’s regular business. No formal action was taken on the Welcome Center during the meeting; committee members heard the report and moved on to other agenda items.
