Town sets Jan. 13 public hearing for sanitary sewer lining project

Melissa (staff) said the package includes lining manholes and that the initial estimate covered regions 1–3; the council discussed the option of adding region 4 if bids come in low enough. Council members asked about available funds; staff responded that there should be “a couple hundred thousand” in reserves once county money is returned.
The council voted to set the public hearing; the motion passed on a voice vote. The hearing notice and state form will be published ahead of the Jan. 13 meeting.
