Pinery HOA hears King Soopers proposal, schedules Trunk-or-Treat and orders park sign

The Pinery Homeowners' Association Executive Board met Sept. 26, 2024, and heard a presentation from Nate Abbott and other representatives of Galloway Construction on a proposal for a new King Soopers to be located off Highway 86 and Wellspring Drive across from the Pinery RV storage lot. President Sonia Eyre announced that Marci Horn had been appointed by the Architectural Review Committee to serve on the board. The board approved the minutes of its July 31 regular meeting and the July 31 executive session as written, and reviewed profit-and-loss and balance sheets with no questions recorded in the minutes.
Director Ted Opp reported for the Community Services Committee that Trunk-or-Treat will be held Oct. 26, that a new Nature Park sign has been ordered, and that the CSC approved the 2025 holiday lighting bid. No additional details about vendors, budgets, or timelines for those items were recorded in the minutes.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. and adjourned at 8:04 p.m. The minutes list President Sonia Eyre (remote), Vice President James Glavin, Secretary Mark Griffin (remote) and Director Ted Opp as present; Treasurer Barry Hong and Director Marci Horn were absent.
