Denton trustees approve $73,692.89 in claims, transfer $30,000 from Keno funds and opt out of terrorism coverage

The minutes also list a Keno report for March 2026 with gross proceeds of $440,805.75, village share $22,411.48, operator share $40,691.22 and unclaimed wins $371.19.
During the same meeting trustees voted to opt out of terrorism coverage on the village’s annual insurance policy; the motion was made by Trustee Doug Rosekrans and seconded by Trustee Trent Wheatley and was recorded as carried. The clerk also notified the board of a proposed five-year lease renewal for the Denton Post Office; the minutes record the notice but do not show a vote on the lease at this meeting.
The minutes include a detailed claims ledger (List A including Ball Insurance $28,577.00 and other items) and an itemized List B and payroll information.
