Council says JWCI will send additional Furnas Forge information to HUD; village expects engineering invoice

Councilman Cummins told the Corwin Village Council July 8 that he had spoken with the village's congressional office and HUD about additional information needed for the Furnas Forge project. Shawn, representing JWCI, told council the requested materials would be sent to HUD this week.
Cummins said the Village should expect an invoice from JWCI for additional engineering work HUD required. He also cautioned that the HUD grant funds discussed at the meeting are limited to Furnas Forge and "cannot be used for Corwin proper," though he said a separate block grant for the village might be possible depending on per-capita income.
Council did not take a formal vote on JWCI contracts at the meeting; Cummins said the Village will receive an invoice and that further review of any JWCI contract or invoice will follow council procedures.
