On the data‑center moratorium, board members said they want a full complement of select board members present before finalizing language and voting. The board indicated it had run proposed moratorium language by town counsel and expected to take a vote next Thursday; if approved, they may schedule a special town meeting to put the moratorium before voters within a few weeks.
The board held its monthly transfer‑station raffle (coordinated by Bonnie Lord); the winner was announced as Bristol Wheeler. Staff reminded residents that the transfer station will be closed Saturday, July 4, and open Sunday; transfer‑station stickers are available at the town office for $20, and the swap shop remains available without a sticker.
