The Marquette County Health Department reported that Family Adventure Day, a free family‑oriented event held April 11 at Montello High School, drew about 350 attendees and included 33 booths run by local organizations and businesses.
Public Health Technician Melissa Hodges told the board the event ran from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., featured free food, music, a balloon artist, face painting and prizes funded through donations, and collected feedback from attendees and exhibitors to improve future events. Hodges said the event would not have been possible without those donations.
Board members did not raise concerns about the event report during the meeting. Organizers plan to use the feedback to refine programming for future Family Adventure Day events.
