“...when Mid American Energy did their repowering, the permit fees were close to a million dollars,” Lennahan said, summarizing the fund’s genesis. She told the board that excess building‑permit revenues had rebuilt the impact fund this fiscal year and recommended using $24,644 of those excess funds for rural economic development purposes; supervisors approved the transfer by roll call.
