Union City moves forward with Broadband Ready Communities resolution and public meeting

Councilor Kerns moved and Councilor Joyce seconded a motion to proceed with a public meeting and the resolution process; the motion carried unanimously.
The minutes record that the designation would allow EACOG to represent the borough in the application process and that a public meeting is required before passing the resolution, intended to notify existing and prospective ISPs of the borough’s interest in expanding broadband options.
