The Revere Local Board of Education approved a slate of consent-agenda items at its June 30 meeting, including personnel actions, contract renewals and appropriations, by motion and roll call.
Among the approvals, the board accepted a recommendation to hire Andrew Tubs as supervisor of technology on a two-year contract beginning Aug. 1. The superintendent's office said a press release with a short biography of the new hire will be circulated. The board approved the grouped consent items after a motion and second; roll-call votes recorded board members responding in the affirmative.
The board also approved multiple student-services contracts and interagency agreements, transfers and FY26–FY27 appropriations. A standalone contract with Applewood C Center for service was approved; one board member (Mrs. Burke) recorded an abstention on that item while other members voted yes.
Votes on grouped consent items were taken by roll call, with individual yes votes recorded for the listed board members. Where motion text, movers and seconders were not read into the record by name, the board followed its standard consent process of consolidated approval for routine items.
The board did not discuss further action on the consent items beyond routine approvals.
