Board grants final plat approval and amended site plan for Racetrack Incorporated consolidation

The planning authority approved a final plat and accepted an amended site plan for a one-lot consolidation submitted by Racetrack Incorporated after consultants from Polar Engineering said staff comments had been addressed.
Ben Sumeet of Polar Engineering told the board the plat bundled prior approvals, corrected roadway dedications and incorporated required easements. He said traffic counts and recommended roadway improvements were included and that added culverts and culvert relocation had been engineered.
A motion to grant final plat approval and accept the amended site plan carried; the board asked the petitioner to deliver finalized documents for recordation and minor corrections.
The approval applies to the final plat and the site-plan amendment; any construction will require permit-level reviews and compliance with applicable design standards.
