The Enumclaw City Council adopted Resolution 1879 on May 26, approving amendments to the city's fee schedule that affect Parks programs and cemetery pricing and reflect an automatic CPI-based school impact fee adjustment.
Parks & Recreation Director Alina Hibbs presented two fee proposals including a lower-cost, two-day swim-team option intended to provide a more affordable program alternative. She also reviewed recommended pricing updates for cemetery alcove niches in the mausoleum, noting several sections are sold out and increases reflect operations, maintenance and endowment contributions.
A city staff member explained the fee resolution incorporates a 3.1% school impact fee adjustment tied to the Consumer Price Index for the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue area and noted the adjustment was implemented April 1 to match permit charges; staff also said the city will evaluate the school district's capital facilities plan after the district's board action this summer before recommending any deviation from the CPI formula.
Council moved and approved Resolution 1879 by voice vote.
