Council approves rezoning for 2351 New High Shoals Road with county conditions

The North High Shoals Town Council voted 4–1 on Nov. 17 to rezone 2351 New High Shoals Road from agricultural (A1) to single-family residential (R1), adding a stipulation that the town will honor the recommendations of the Oconee County Planning Commission.

Council Member Hilda Kurtz moved to approve the zoning change; Council Member Eric Wright seconded and the motion passed 4–1.
