At its July 2, 2026 meeting the Upper Macungie Township Board of Supervisors took the following formal actions (voice votes unless otherwise noted). Two supervisors were present at the meeting; votes recorded in the transcript were unanimous among those present.
- Ordinance 2026-06 (parks and recreation): Motion modified and tabled for redrafting and review at the August 6 meeting. Outcome: Tabled.
- Resolution 2026-34 (fee schedule updates for the Community Lifestyle Center): Adopted as modified during the meeting to include an introductory EV rate and idle-fee capability. Outcome: Approved.
- Resolution 2026-35 (PennDOT multimodal grant application for Lone Lane connectivity, $1,297,500): Authorized for submission. Outcome: Approved.
- Motion A: Authorize extension of time for recording Docket 2413 (Nursery Street Townhouses) to October 31, 2026. Outcome: Approved.
- Motion B: Authorize extension of time for recording Docket 2403 (extra lease office and maintenance building) to November 28, 2026. Outcome: Approved.
- Motion C: Issue honorary lifetime memberships to Howard Kulp and Robert Ibach for their work on the Community Lifestyle Center. Outcome: Approved.
- Motion D: Transfer $850,000 from unappropriated sanitary sewer reserves to the sanitary sewer capital improvement budget to fund additional inflow-and-infiltration projects, including manhole frame/covers and lining to address a collapsed section of pipe on Blue Barn Road. Outcome: Approved.
