"I wanna change that sentence to read something, to the effect of we need to advise the state that while there's no state designated significant habitat, there is a locally designated, significant habitat," the chair said.
After the chair proposed the edit, he moved to adopt the letter with the described change. A second was recorded and the commission voted in favor; the chair announced the motion carried unanimously. No further substantive edits were requested and the letter will be transmitted to the state as amended.
