Port Clinton ARB discusses chronic absences; chairman proposes ordinance change to allow alternates

Chairman Todd Bickley recommended amending the city ordinance to allow the mayor to appoint two alternates; under Bickley’s proposal the secretary could contact alternates when a regular member is unavailable, reducing the risk that a meeting would be cancelled for lack of quorum. Snyder said she would consider serving as an alternate.
