Centerville-Abington board recognizes students who earned perfect test scores

Centerville-Abington Community Schools board members recognized students who earned perfect scores on a recent reading assessment. During the opening of the meeting the chair introduced a third grader, Aydah, and another student, Gus Rayborn, who had perfect scores; the board congratulated them and invited students and families to join briefly for a photo. A Rose Hamilton second grader who also achieved a perfect score was acknowledged but not named in the transcript.

Board members praised the students’ academic performance and encouraged applause; the recognitions were brief and occurred at the start of the meeting before routine agenda business.
