Dawes County officials approved a permissive property tax exemption for the Post Playhouse during a special Board of Equalization meeting on Oct. 20, 2025.
Dawn Sayaloune, the county’s deputy assessor, presented the permissive exemption application for the Post Playhouse, identified in the application as Block 12, Lot 10 in the Original Town of Crawford. Commissioner Jake Stewart moved to approve the exemption; Commissioner Juhlin seconded the motion. A roll call vote recorded aye votes from Stewart and Juhlin, no nays, and the motion carried.
