Board splits 3-2 on relocating lake aeration equipment, approves temporary 'zombie box'

Operations Manager Shane Willis presented Premier Lakes’ one-time work order and a revised Bentley Electric proposal that would add about 125 feet of electrical work to relocate the 240V aerator. Board members discussed budget impacts and an alternative to defer relocation until the proposed FY2026 budget discussions.
On a motion by Bob Schultz and seconded by Robert Twombly, the board approved installing a zombie box in the amount of $3,098. The motion passed with Schultz, Twombly and Keith Merrill voting in favor and Terry Mountford and Kurt Blumenthal dissenting.
