District Management and District Counsel outlined new statutory requirements under Florida House Bill 7013 that require special districts to establish annual goals and objectives and develop performance measures and standards.
Mrs. Adams and Mr. Pires presented proposed measures focused on Community Communication and Engagement, Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance, and Financial Transparency and Accountability for fiscal year 2025. The Board approved the Goals and Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form and added the initial reporting deadline (Dec. 1, 2025) to the Key Activity Dates list; the report must be posted on the CDD website.
