River Ridge CDD appoints resident Keith Merrill to fill vacant board seat; Oath administered

The River Ridge Community Development District on Oct. 22 appointed resident Keith Merrill to the Board’s vacant Seat 1, a term that expires in November 2026. Chair Bob Schultz nominated Merrill and the Board approved the appointment by motion.
Cleo Adams, District Manager and a notary, administered the Oath of Office to Merrill. District counsel Tony Pires and Mrs. Adams reviewed the Sunshine Law, the Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees, required ethics training and filing obligations including Form 1 and Form 8B voting-conflict memoranda.
The Board thanked candidate Kevin Ofenloch for his willingness to serve. No other nominations were made before the motion to appoint Merrill was approved. The Board recorded the appointment as a formal action and moved on to other agenda items.
