Committee hears mixed reports on Rumpke service and incident counts

During the Nov. 5 Streets Committee meeting, Chair Joanne Krejci said she had not seen a monthly report from Rumpke, the city's solid-waste contractor.
Mayor Larry Antoskiewicz said a report had been sent but he was unsure whether council members were copied on the email. Service Director Nick Cinquepalmi said the report was sent "a few days ago." Krejci said the previous month had very few incidents but that this month showed more incidents than last month while remaining lower than earlier months.
Committee members did not vote on any action related to Rumpke at the meeting; staff and the mayor indicated they would clarify distribution of the report and provide any additional information requested by council.
