Union County unveils address lookup and enrollment projections; trustees discuss possible redistricting

Board members discussed using the mapping tool, county E911/GIS resources and county planning data as inputs if the board decides to consider redrawing attendance zones. Members requested staff compile information about planned housing (three‑ to five‑year outlook) and bring an action item to a future meeting to begin the redistricting discussion if warranted.
District staff said the mapping tool will help identify where houses and students live but that any line redrawing would require multiple agencies’ input and a formal process informed by facility capacities and community planning.
