The board then voted to name Eliza Jane Adams chair (motion by Richard Hackel, seconded by David Hill) and to appoint Richard Hackel vice chair (motion by Eliza Jane Adams, seconded by David Hill); both motions passed unanimously.
The board also closed a public hearing on a Special Amusement and Victualers License for the Chebeague Island Inn and approved the license. The motion to approve the license was moved by Eliza Jane Adams and seconded by David Hill; the board recorded the vote as "All in Favor; Motion Carried." There were no public comments during the hearing.
The actions formalize the island's current leadership and clear the Inn to operate under the town's amusements and victualers licensing framework. The minutes record no dissent or conditions attached to the approvals.
