Hansen, principal of Kenneth Gardner Leadership Academy, highlighted removal from CSI to an ATSI designation for a targeted subgroup, efforts to close gaps (I‑Ready diagnostics and targeted third‑grade supports), arts grant funding (SCDE arts enhancement grant providing $10,000), family engagement through Parent Academy and extracurricular enrichment including steel drum and dance programs.
Board members asked operational questions about facility upgrades, staffing time for supports and event logistics; principals supplied clarifying details about staffing schedules and program delivery.
