At its July 1 meeting the Henrietta Town Board disposed of a series of routine items. The board approved Resolution 13-239 to ratify a set of agreements, Resolution 13-240 to authorize bills payable for June 18 through July 1 (including several larger purchases highlighted by staff), and several donation acknowledgements and surplus declarations.
The board accepted small community donations for town events (including $500 from McQuade Jesuit High School for a movie night and multiple donations from the Henrietta Public Library Friends and Foundation totaling $8,400 for library events and shelving). The board also declared surplus materials from the Recreation Department and the public library and approved a modest increase in a professional services fee (Resolution 13-246) related to the municipal dog shelter inspections to cover an additional $78.89.
In personnel action, the board voted to appoint Joe Balanca Jr. to the Henrietta Public Library Board of Trustees (Resolution 13-251). Each item was adopted on recorded roll calls with Council members Barley, Stafford, Sophranic, Owens and Supervisor Schultz voting in favor.
These items are routine governance approvals that allow staff to proceed with contracted work, accept philanthropic support for community programming, and fill board vacancies.
