Henrietta Town Board approves two Greenspark solar PILOT agreements; one to help fund amphitheater

The Henrietta Town Board on July 1 approved two solar pilot agreements with Greenspark: Resolution 13-243 to approve the Greenspark Martin Road Henrietta Solar LLC pilot and Resolution 13-244 to approve the Green Spark Lehi Valley Solar pilot for EH Henrietta Solar One LLC.
Supervisor Schultz said both projects use the standard pilot form previously negotiated and that the county and school district have already approved the document form in other cases. He noted that one of the projects will contribute $150,000 toward construction of the Henry Hansen Amphitheater as part of the incentive zoning and tree‑mitigation commitments. "Because this one was not tied to an active farm and was done through incentive zoning, they are contributing $150,000 towards the construction of the band shell," he said.
Board members voted in favor on roll call. The approvals allow the projects to advance through final permits, but Supervisor Schultz said any material contract changes requested by other agencies will be reviewed by the town attorney and, if significant, returned to the board.
The approvals include standard conditions that the town may require additional approvals by the county and school district and that some changes may require further board action. The town also described tree replacements (two‑for‑one for high‑value mature trees) and a contribution to the town’s tree bank.
