Spring Lake Heights council approves consent agenda, appoints crossing guard and authorizes bid solicitation for communication tower

On Oct. 21 the borough council unanimously approved the consent agenda (R2024-166 through R2024-169) including a crossing guard appointment and authorization to solicit bids for leasing land related to a communication tower; it also approved payment of bills (R2024-170).
At its Oct. 21, 2024 regular meeting the Spring Lake Heights Borough Council approved the consent agenda and a bills list in unanimous votes.
On a motion by Councilwoman Sara King, seconded by Councilman Christopher Willms, the council approved consent agenda items R2024-166 through R2024-169. The items were recorded in the minutes as: R2024-166 approving use of the Cornelius V. Kelly Community Center by The Commons Condo Association; R2024-167 confirming the appointment of a school crossing guard, Kathleen McGrade; R2024-168 establishing a Halloween curfew; and R2024-169 authorizing solicitation of bids for the lease of real property related to construction of a communication tower.
Later the council approved Resolution R2024-170, moved by Councilman William Graetz and seconded by Councilman John Casagrande, confirming payment of the itemized claims on the Oct. 18, 2024 bills list. Both motions passed with affirmative votes from Councilmembers Capristo, Casagrande, Degnan-Spang, Graetz, King and Willms.
There were no presentations or scheduled public hearings. The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
